New IU Metal Din-Rail Enclosure
IU metal enclosure is used widely for a variety of indoor applications – from residential, commercial and industrial buildings for many years, due to its ease of installation and the high level of quality.
Introduction
- Available from 13 to 108 modules, the new IU metal din-rail enclosure has been re-designed with an improved aesthetics with a new door latch.

Product Structure
New door lock:
- Door handle.
- Robust door latch to lock the door.
- Optional key lock VZ794N (same as the lock used in Golf enclosures range).
Door:
- Removable door to make installation even easier.
- Can be hinged on the left or right to suit space constraints.
- Top hinge is fixed pin, bottom hinge is sliding pin.
Din rail and E&N terminals:
- Din rails are provided.
- New Earth and Neutral terminal supports.
- New terminals fixation method allows no screw to be visible from the exterior of the enclosure.
- Only 2 screws on the top or bottom gland plate for fixation.
Top and bottom gland plates:
- Knock-outs to suit trucking's and cable entries.
- New design feature - 2 click points & 2 screws for gland plate fixation. Allows gland plate to be easily removed for more accessible space during installation.
Installation with MCCB Incomer
IU enclosure for x160 3P MCCB incomer:
- Suitable for applications with max 160A MCCB incomer.
- Enclosure can be reversed, depending if MCCB incomer to be positioned at the top or bottom.
- Mounting plate for MCCB is pre-installed in the factory.
- The enclosures are the extension of 18 mod IU enclosure in 3-row, 4-row & 5-row.
